1- How can I reserve a tour?
Step 1- Select Your Favorite Tour on our website
Take a look at our different tours options that we offer on our website. After having selected the options that you like the most, be sure to fill out our Booking Form with the information that we need to book the tours, such as your full name, date of the tour, number of people, and other details in our online form, and then send it.
Step 2- Confirmation of availability, details, and quote
Once we have received your request, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm availability, verify if you have any special requests, and send you a detailed description of your tour or activity, along with the final quote of your request, amount to deposit, and the payment method options and instructions.
Step 3- Confirming your Tour & Payment
As soon as you complete the deposit for the tour, we will proceed to send you an email with confirmation of the tour, along with more information about your tour, name of your tour guide, invoice and remaining balance. The remaining balance will be paid the day of your tour directly to your tour guide.
2- Can I reserve directly via email?
Yes, it is possible to reserve a tour or activity via email. Send us an email along with the following information: Tour name, number of people, dates, first and last name of the people that will participate in the tour, pick up location, and any special requests that you may have. Reservations can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3- How much time in advance is needed to reserve a tour?
In order for us to personalize your tour and provide you with high-quality service, we recommend booking a tour at least 2 days in advance. If you are booking a Multi-Day Tour option or a road trip, several weeks in advance is recommended.
4- Can I book a tour at the last minute?
Yes, it’s possible to book a tour at the last minute. Please remember that to guarantee the booking of a tour or activity, we recommend booking at least two or more days in advance.

5- How fast will my tour be confirmed?
Our goal is to respond to your request as soon as possible. Depending on the tour, or activity that you are requesting, we will provide you with a response immediately or within a 24 hours window.
6- Which forms of payment can I use to reserve?
We offer the option to pay online safely. Payments for deposits to confirm the tour will be made through PayPal. Payments also can be done in cash directly the day of the tour.
7- Why can’t I pay online immediately when I request a tour?
Some of our tours and some activities require special planning, the personalization of the trip, and contacting different other partner operators. Because of this, we do not charge for a tour until we have verified availability. Your payment will not be requested until after we have confirmed availability with the communities and partners if applicable.
8- Are there additional charges or taxes in addition to the listed prices of the trips?
There are no additional charges or taxes unless specifically indicated. Some tours offer optional activities that will be mentioned. Optional activities require an additional charge. Please be aware that changing your itinerary or additional activities during the course of your tour or trip can affect the cost of the trip.
9- How will I receive my receipt of payment?
An email will be used to confirm your deposit and reflect the remaining balance to be paid. The confirmation will also have the details and dates of your tour, program, or service, the number of participants, the location of your pickup, arrival instructions, recommendations, our contact information, and the remaining balance.
A receipt of payment also will be sent through email when you have made the complete payment.
10- Upon making the deposit, do I need to show a receipt or proof that the deposit has been made?
As soon as you complete your deposit through PayPal, PayPal will send us an email directly to us, with the confirmation of your deposit, so it is not necessary to send us this information.
11- What happens if I have to cancel? Can I get my money back?
Please read our Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions that are expressed on our web page. You can also find this information on the email that you will receive on our tours, activities, and trips when you first request a quote.
12- Can I reserve a tour or activity without making a deposit or paying in advance?
Depending on the activity, a deposit amount may be indicated with the payment instructions when we send you availability confirmation. If so, a deposit is required to reserve the activity.
13- I’m traveling alone. Is it possible to do a tour, activity, or trip with just one person?
Yes, there is always the possibility to do a tour, with just one person, however the price would not be the same since all of our prices reflect a minimum of 2 people, and in some instances 3 or 4 people. If this is your case, please contact us for a personalized quote to the following email: email@example.com.
14- Are there special rates for groups of 6 or more people?
Yes, discounts will be applied for groups of 8 or more. If you are traveling with a larger group, please contact us for a specific quote.
Please note that this discount does not apply to tours that are already priced as special offers.
15- What currency is used for payment?
All payments must be made in US Dollars.
16- If I reserve a specific date, can I change it for another date?
If we have availability for the new date, it may be possible. Please read our Cancellation Policy, Terms & Conditions based on your change request.
17- What are the optional activities?
Optional activities mainly apply for private tours. These are additional activities that can be done within a tour or trip but are not considered part of the value of the tour. You can, however, request these activities during the tour or trip. Please understand that these values must be paid additionally and directly to the activity provider.
18- I still haven’t received my reservation confirmation. What do I do?

19- What are the hours that I may call the reservation line?
Monday through Saturday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. Please note that our office is not open on Sunday, or weekdays
after 8:00 pm.
20- Who is going to be in charge of the tours that we booked?
Some of our tours are arranged, designed and guided by us at Snowy Cotinga Expeditions. Since we support local communities, local tour guides and operators, some of our other tours will be led or organized by our partners. As part of the information that we provide for each booking we let clients know which partner will be in charge of your tour or activity.
